No matter what part of the world you are researching, there is often a local genealogical society with members providing a lot of expertise and knowledge of the local population and organizations. A suggestions is to contact these societies or individuals who could give you additional support on difficult issues. Don’t expect them to necessarily work for free, however, and at the very least perhaps they can recommend an avenue you hadn’t thought of or an individual with expertise whom you can contact.
If this is your hobby, it might be worth your while to actually join a local genealogical group or society in your town. Often working together provides an opportunity to create new ideas and for sure you will see how others operate and get results in their genealogical family research.
Most importantly . . . have fun.
